Kym Kennedy
After two divorces and a computer training business that closed after 8 years of extremely hard work, Kym decided that somehow there was something about the game of life that she didn’t understand. After all, she was the only common denominator in all of those scenarios! She decided to seek out spiritual guidance for the first time in 20 years. What she discovered from that was that she did not love herself, a realization that absolutely floored her, as she had always seen herself as confident and competent. Kym now knows that awareness is the first step to healing and with that awareness she began an intense study of spiritual principles and practices that is the basis of her work with others today.
Since she was convinced that if she didn’t love herself she was probably not alone she became committed to study and share the work of Louise Hay, best-selling author and president of Hay House Publications, whose focus had mostly been about self-love. Kym became certified to teach Heal Your Life workshops based on Louise’s work. She then went deeper realizing that there was more to learn about her spiritual side and became certified in Spiritual Life Maintenance after completing 2 years of study at Innervisions Institute of Spiritual Development founded by spiritual leader and author Iyanla Vanzant. She also studied for a year under spiritual leader and author, Paul Ferrini and teaches Laws of Love classes based on his works.
Most recently Kym discovered a body of work based on the book called "Radical Forgiveness" by Colin Tipping. Kym feels that this is the most important work she has discovered to date. It helps people to acknowledge the areas of their subconscious and unconscious minds (60% & 30% of our mental activity respectively) that are blocking us from achieving our highest potential in life. Using simple but effective tools, this methodology helps us to heal those wounds suffered in childhood and beyond, freeing us mentally and emotionally and raising our vibrations to levels that allow us to really live like the divine emanations of God that we are. Kym is now a Certified Radical Forgiveness Coach.
Knowing how critical it is that we know that our spiritual powers are far greater than any physical power we have, and that we truly create and attract every experience and relationship that we have, Kym is on a mission to share that message with as many as will listen. Since 2001 Kym has held Sacred Circles in her home where she and participants tell their stories in a safe non-judgmental space and seek spiritual solutions to their problems while celebrating their triumphs. Recently she has offered the same opportunity via teleconference in order to reach out to more people in multiple cities. Kym has written articles on the subject and has spoken to community groups and youth groups. She is available for workshops, classes and speaking engagements.
Kym was raised in Baltimore, Maryland the daughter of a chef and a teacher. She got her BA degree from the University of Maryland in Political Science and her MA from Clemson University in Human Resource Development. Kym recently resigned from her position with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America in order to devote her time totally to her coaching, teaching and speaking.
Kym has helped raise 5 children, one natural, the others adopted or step. She now resides in Atlanta, GA and is a member of Hillside International Truth Center.
